Divisive post

Hubby and I had a very surreal experience Saturday night; we still can't stop talking about it.

Some of you will need no explanation as to why it was such a strange moment in our lives.

Others of you will not be able to understand no matter how much I explain; I'm not even going to try. So I'm sorry this post will make no sense to you, but I have to share.

We had a date Saturday afternoon/evening while Mimi watched the Mess. We had been to see National Treasure, gone out to dinner, and were in Babies 'R Us to try out gliders (Mimi's present to the new baby).

That's when we saw them: Rickie and Louise.

They look exactly the same.

Except:
  1. They were walking separately
  2. There was no Bible in sight
  3. And they have procreated.
Hubby had on a college shirt. Glider shopping was quickly abandoned.

But I'm still having flashbacks...

    OH HOLY HELL!!!!!! DID LOUISE'S HAIR CHANGE AT ALL??

    OH, the lunch time flashbacks....and thoughts of the awkwardness of procreation and books on "sex for dummies" they must've used....ohh...they thoughts...

    I saw them not too long ago - not sure when or why, but thought the same. . . scary - we duck out of places all the time - Devin always sees someone he knows, and I understand now that if I am quickly yanked in another direction, that's why!

    Did the procreation result in children more attractive than the parents?
