Help!

Okay parents, any advice for what to do when your child figures out how (and is able) to open the top buckle on his car seat??

  1. Emma has discovered that if you drip candy juice (in this case a peppermint) on the latch, it becomes so hard to open that you have to wait for Mom and Dad.

She did that for a while, but we somehow managed to put the fear into her, and Dora always buckles up for safety.

  3. Umm....I've got nothing for you. Perhaps duct tape....? :) Hmm...no...that would be totally counterproductive.

  4. Superglue his hands to his crotch.

Oh wait, that was a movie.

Constantly reinforce how wrong it is and he'll catch on. Similar to not sticking metal into light sockets.
